DESTINATION BROOKLYN: PRIDE is a curated dynamic series of Pride events produced by Central Brooklyn businesses from June 1 to June 30 to celebrate Pride and the 50th Anniversary of Stonewall and World Pride celebration happening at Barclays.
This vital initiative is a collaboration of two business leaders, a gay business pioneer, Calvin Clark, owner of Bedford Manor and the recently closed, Langstons and Atim Annette Oton, owner of Calabar Imports.
The objective was to bring together businnesses of color to provide safe venues and activities for Pride visitors, highlight Brooklyn’s day and nightlife venues, support enterprising economic development in Central Brooklyn and celebrate the LBGTQAI+ 50th anniversary.
